Divine Aura.....
Man. I want divine aura. Sparks and whatever when you dance....cool.
However, I have an account already, and dont want to pay $80 to get collector's edition. Adding to that, I would have to start all over, leaving behind me Ascended/infused/UW/whatever character.... Is there any way you can get divine aura without collector's edition? I hear winning HOH or something like that... |

I believe you may be able to enter the collector's edition code into your current account to update it. You should check with ArenaNet to make sure, but I'm fairly certain I heard that you could do that.

You can add a Collector's Edition key to your current account to add the Aura without having to start new characters, but you still have to buy an unused Collector's key, so not much help saving money. You'd be better off keeping the keys separate to let you have 8 characters.

4 characters on each account. He still needs to unlock everything on the other account though.

I think Anet should offer Divine Aura for sale say like $10-15 extra for the players that would like to have it without having to buy the hard to find CE. Now with release of Factions coming this spring Gaile has that their will even less copies of CE this time going out to the stores. Making it harder for players to get certain things they would like to get but can't because of various reasons. Like sores in your area don???t carry the CE version and or players can???t afford the price at the time or players don???t have credit cards.
List can go on & on |

Eh if it's a HARD TO FIND ONE, think about that. It was meant to be hard to find with the divine aura. It's called preordering and getting Chapter 2 CE if there is one, OR call around the stores around you and search for a Chapter 1 CE, maybe a used one and just want the code.

Um I've already tried that and Factions CE won't have Diven Aura from what I understand from what Gaile has said but I maybe wrong.

no for 2 reasons 1 it is not part of the account and falls into the same catagory as name changes. when a CE key is added to a regular account (according to Gaile) a new CE account with your existing characters is created which gives you DEVINE AURA but no extra slots 2. buying it? no as that was a special goodie for those who decided to buy the CE instead of the regular |

you can on occasion find an unopened box of the ce, I found one from a seller on ebay near me and had the guy open the box to show me the gw seal on the cd case, in which it was truly unopened, so i promptly handed over the cash and got me the goodies.
you can expect to pay upwards of $120 or so if you are lucky enough to find one now though. Gaile has said that there will be fewer copies of the ce for factions, so you better be sure to grab one if this is what you are wanting, she is supposed to have the contents posted this friday so you might wait until then to see what is included. |

Does anyone know if the collectors edition for factions will give you a divine aura on all of your characters or anything like that?

I'm not sure, if it does then I'm all for it. I'd like to purchase a CE of Faction as well... just my theory that they would try the more profitable method. Perhaps this is why merging accounts only yields 2 extra slot?
